This is my sons comfort toy. He sleeps with it every night since he was old enough to roll over. I bought this as a backup in case the 1st one goes. it has held up fine for a year already and was washed and dried multiple times. The fur is a little matted but no biggie. It does have plastic eyes, I know it is not recommended to give a baby a crib stuffed animal that has plastic eyes in case they chew them out they pose a choking hazard. Just so happens this is the stuffed animal he loves best. I check the eyes every night and they show no signs of tearing out or wear.
