I work in law enforcement and I have honestly used this pack just about every day for the last three years. I have tried many different types of smaller and larger packs over the years but this one is hands down the best! It is super tough! I mean this thing gets thrown into the back of trucks, on to floors of all types of buildings, on the ground outside, on rocks, at the range, in the woods, you name it. It has kept my gear dry during some bad storms and none of the buckles have even hinted of malfunctioning! It's comfortable to wear on your back and the chest strap not only helps keep the pack snug to your body but when I go mountain biking with it on I like to clip my MP3 player on to the chest strap so I have easy access! The only problem is that I am carrying more and more stuff these days and so now I want one just like it but about 50% bigger. Even if I do get a bigger Blackhawk pack I will never sell this one, this will always have a place in my gear lineup and when I get too old to use it then I'll just give it to one of my sons!

I've had this pack for a little over a month now and I've put it through some hard use already and it's holding up perfectly! My only con is that the pack is not as big as it looks, it's large enough to handle your everyday uses. I'm active duty military and I push this bag to it's limit both on & off duty. Just to use as a scale measure, each of the two top pockets is large enough to hold two standard 30rd M4 magazines, or an average can of soda. In the main compartment, there is enough space to hold my gas mask, medium medical kit, hydration system, food for 2+ days, and much much more. I am confident this pack will last me a long time through some tough use. It's well constructed, and definitely worth the money! The padding and vanes in the back make it comfortable for those long treks in the boonies, but don't expect the shoulder straps to be extra cushioned. Still very comfortable! Wish it could have had some MOLLE attachment areas above the lower pockets instead of the traditional ALICE webbing around it, but nonetheless, this pack takes everything you give it & then some!

I purchased this pack at an extreme discount. I have owned several Blackhawk items in the past. I was very upset, it's a tiny little pack. not what I was expecting at all. I am 6'4, 250 lbs, it looks like a kids pack on my back. yes, it's built well, has all the bells and whistles. I guess I'll give it to one of my kids.

I got this Pack extremely early. It was in great condition, and I couldn't be happier. As a seller Pat 93 can't be beat. He got it to me very quickly, and was very responsive with all my questions.
