Perfect for a commuter, this bag is tough (resists light rain) and still classy. The side pocket with the zipper and the business card holder are great. It's big enough for a laptop plus lunch - and it's perfect as a 'personal item on a flight because you can pack it full or fold it over and shove it under the seat in front of you. I get lots of compliments on the bag.

As totebags go, this has a ton of room. It is not super-wide, but really deep which can be handy for carrying long and/or bulky items. It's very attractive and appears to be well made. The only downside is that it has no zipper at the top, so in certain situations your stuff could spill out. Other than that, a great bag.

I expected the bag to feel sturdier and in a heavier weight material. It holds my stuff well enough when I shop. The metal links that are attached to the grommets seem a little light-weight but I haven't had anything heavy in it. I would like it more if the handles were thicker and wider. It's not bad, but I thought it would have a little something special about it based on the description. I'm not sending it back. It is very pretty and can hold gym clothes or department store purchases.
