This is an excellent product. I recently purchased one for a trip abroad. I was surprised initially at how tall it was but it turned out ideal for using in London. It is well made and did not drag on the ground, as in a previous review. I am 5' 7" and the only time it did drag was when my son used it as he was not tall enough to keep it upright. It actually has sturdy plastic protection on the edge so the fabric does not damage. Fabric is very sturdy, I was expecting it to be lightweight like their fold-up shoppers. I chose the art deco print and it looked great and modern!
Would recommend using.
Excellent customer service as well.

I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews. I love the design, but the second time I took this shopping, one of the wheels fell off. I had to lug my groceries home as best I could... awkward, arrgh! On closer inspection, it seems that the rivets used to attach the wheel assemblies are totally inadequate. They simply pull out of the assembly. Then the corner of one of the plastic wheel assemblies broke, so not really repairable. I saw that, by only the SECOND use, most of the rivet fasteners had either pulled out, or were in the process of doing so. This could so easily have been designed properly, but it is not. Don't waste your money, please.
It's not really worth it to me to spend the time effort etc. to mail this piece of junk back to the vendor. But as poor reviews have been on her for quite a while, they are being VERY irresponsible selling this item.

On first look, this product looks great- it folds into a compact briefcase-looking bag to carry to the store, and unfolds relatively easily into the trolley you see. It then proceeds to rip itself a new one with your first use, ripping itself newer and bigger ones the more you use it.
Basically, the design is flawed. They allowed the bag to extend forward (or rearward, depending on your view) over the wheelbase so that when it tips with being wheeled, the bag drags on the ground. This isn't Kevlar, so it rips easily as it drags on pavement. Basically, after 2 uses, it's in a bag itself, being hauled out to the garbage.
Combined with a handle that is great if you're 5' tall or shorter, this item, while in principle a good idea, has a design worthy of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Avoid at all costs.

Too bad about wheel falling off! Sep 10, 2009

I was delighted to see this on amazon, having first seen it in Europe and thinking how useful it could be. I keep this in the back of my trunk and when there are a lot of grocery bags, open up the bag and throw the bags in. I am 5' 3" and the height is still OK. Fabric is sturdy and wheels are easy to open up and collapse. There is a metal attachment across from the wheels that helps bag stay upright. I am not sure this should be used for heavy, heavy duty lugging and wheeling, but for my purposes, it is just terrific. Once unfolded, there is an outside pocket for receipts etc. Very, very handy and quite stylish looking. I got the black polka dot one and am considering getting a few as holiday gifts!
Update: I had to change the rating from 5 stars to 2. I am afraid the wheel fell off, and the bits and pieces scattered, leaving no possibility to fix. Use with care.

Broken wheels Aug 30, 2010

I had to write a review as my wheel broke after a short period of time and the one I got my mom broke as well (the wheel). My husband tried to fix the plastic that broke so as to re-attach the wheel but no luck. These are not cheap (in price) and I was hoping to contact the manufacturer and see what they can do. Will post again with any news.
